Omega MM1500 (Selderij juicer)

The Omega MM1500 is specially designed for juicing celery. The inventor of celery juice Anthony William inspired millions of people in the US in the 1980s. Together with manufacturer Omega, Anthony William designed the Omega MM900 & Omega MM1500.

MM900 VS MM1500

Compared to the MM900 which was designed for a daily juice production of 0.5 litres, the MM1500 can handle up to 1.5 litres at a time. Only the pressing screw is taken from the MM900, all other parts are renewed. The filling shaft has been enlarged to 5 cm and the juice sieve has been modified to accommodate larger volumes. The MM1500 also comes with extra accessories such as a closed sieve and a pasta and grissini set for making healthy sorbet ice cream, nut paste, spreads etc.

Celery

The 3 special features of the MM series make the MM1500 the perfect juicer for juicing celery, leafy vegetables and other fibrous vegetables. Besides vegetables, the MM1500 can also be used for making fruit juices. The first feature is that the MM1500 is equipped with a three-step squeezing screw with gentle 80 - 100 revolutions per minute, it first coarsely chops the stalks of celery and thus prepares the actual pressing process. After chopping, the plant cells are thoroughly broken in phase two and the plant pulp is finally pressed in such a way that the delicious juice with all its vitamins, minerals and micronutrients is extracted. The second feature is the clever adjustable end cap, which allows you to adjust the resistance in 3 positions for more juice yield with more nutrients. The 3rd special feature of the MM1500 is that the juicer comes with 2 end caps, a celery end cap for juicing celery, wheatgrass and other leafy vegetables and a standard end cap for juicing soft fruits/vegetables like cucumber, tomato, citrus etc.

Food processor

Besides juicing, the MM1500 can also be used as a food processor. The included tight sieve and pasta and grissini set make it possible to use the juicer for mashing. You can make the tastiest healthy dishes such as sorbet ice cream, hummus, nut paste etc.

How do you clean the Omega?
The parts of the Omega are not dishwasher safe. They are best cleaned under the tap with warm water and the appropriate brushes. If any vegetable or fruit residue remains, you can leave the parts to soak in a bowl of warm water for a few hours.
